汉语母语者和汉语二语学习者语言能力发展特征对比——基于母语教材和国际中文教材文本可读性的回归分析A Comparative Study on the Developmental Characteristics of Language Proficiency Between Native Chinese Speakers and Chinese as a Second Language Learner——A Regression Analysis Based on the Readability of Native and International Chinese Textbooks

摘要(Abstract):
使用“文本可读性”的研究方法,以多个版本的小学母语教材和面向来华留学生的国际中文教材作为语料来源,分别建立了两种类型教材的文本语料库。采用建立文本可读性公式的方式,比较两类教材语料库中各子库在语言难度层级变化上的差异。结果发现:(1)面向两类人群的教材中,语言难度的差异显著集中在低年级—低语言水平阶段,而面向较高年级—高语言水平阶段的教材文本的语言难度差异相对不大。(2)面向低语言水平汉语二语学习者的教材在文本可读性上显著高于面向低年级的汉语母语者的教材;而面向高年级的母语教材文本在文本可读性上则显著高于面向高语言水平学习者的国际中文教材文本。可见,初级语言水平的二语学习者缺少对目的语的足够了解和认识,因而其所能阅读的目的语文本需要有较高的文本可读性;而小学一、二年级的母语儿童已经具备一定的母语识读能力,因而其使用的母语教材所选择的文本在可读性上必然低于相应水平等级的国际中文教材。随着语言水平的提升,二语者(中国境内的国际中文教材的受众多为成年来华留学生)凭借自身的知识积累,能够比高年级的母语儿童更好地理解文本可读性低的汉语文本。可以认为,二语学习者的语言能力发展过程更短,可以在更短的时间内跨越更大的文本绝对难度,进而理解可读性更低的文本。
